Terms & Conditions

Please first read the following Terms & conditions before apply a home tuition:)

  01   A student can always cancel the booking, but only during the first day class (Demo class) . It is the Tutor’s responsibility to impress and convince the student party with his/her teaching abilities and methods. Tutor should carry out the tutoring services in a professional manner with due skill, diligence and care.   

  02. The Tutor is responsible for the content of lessons. These are to be carried out with proper preparation in accordance with a particular course of study, and in accordance with the Client’s instructions and/or relevant exam syllabus.

     03. Tutor is responsible for keeping his/ her teaching record up to date . This is a standard record of all classes taught, which is to be signed by the Client after each month . If you don’t  update after class or there is incorrect information on updates , your payment may be delayed. if tutor is unable to attend a scheduled class or If there is an emergency, tutor should inform about that class cancellation or rescheduling the class at a time agreeable to both parties (parents & Company) .    

    04. Although Tutor has some teaching resources and may be able to support student / students by providing suitable materials, Tutor should be aware that he/she is responsible for providing all reasonable teaching materials. 

    05.Tutor should  inform  Guru Gyan Home Tuition 10 days in advance before he/she decides to stop teaching the student so that there will be enough time for  Guru Gyan Home Tuition to find a replacement for the new tutor to take over. 

    06. Tutor must promote and support active and independent learning, develop a positive approach to learning , aid in developing higher academic competence and student confidence , create an encouraging environment where learning takes place at the student’s pace.  

   07. Tutor understand that the final decision to choose a particular student for tuition is yours and yours alone and agree that you will teach the student if and only if at least one parent is present in the house . Any misconduct, misbehaviour, molestation, Bad Character complaint during tuitions hours shall be intolerable. Any such activity done shall be the teacher’s responsibility.  

  2. Restrictions : 

  2.01   Tutor shall not punish the student in any condition .  

 2.02. Tutor shall not market or sell any goods or services while communicating with a Customer in relation to a Tuition Session or whilst delivering a Tuition Session.   

2.03. Tutor will not use Mobile  while delivering a Tuition Session . 

2.04. Tutor shall not  discuss or negotiate about Tuition’s fees directly from the client . Tutor will not indulge in any direct dealing with student/client provided by  Guru Gyan Home Tuition and Tutor will not share details of payment structure  with clients .  

3. Payment:   

3.01    As a tutor of  Guru Gyan Home Tuition, you’ll take care of travel expenses to reach the tuition location. However,  Guru Gyan Home Tuition won’t be held responsible for any additional costs.

3.02. For your peace of mind, if you need to cancel after the demo class, you won’t receive any payment, even if the sessions have been funded beforehand by the student or parents.

3.03. To ensure stability and continuity in tutoring, you’ll need to commit to teaching for a minimum of one month. If the tuition is discontinued within the month, you won’t be compensated.   

3.04. As a tutor, you will receive a lucrative 50% payout of the first month’s fees. The remaining 50% will be covered by  Guru Gyan Home Tuition as the “Student Providing Charge”.

For the first month, you’ll receive payment directly from us. Starting from the second month, you may choose to collect fees directly from the client, but we won’t be held responsible if they don’t pay. To ensure the safety of your earnings, you have the option to let us handle the collection process for free . Rest assured, we will promptly pay you at the end of each month.

3.05. Upon selection by a client, a tutor is required to commit to teaching for a minimum of one month, with a mandatory 50% fee deduction for the first month; in cases where a tutor provides a trial class and is selected but declines to teach without a valid reason, their profile will be negatively balanced by 50% of the first month’s fees until the penalty is paid, allowing them to be assigned to new students; if a tutor opts to discontinue teaching within 1-12 days of commencement, no fees are provided, and their profile is negatively balanced by a maximum of 50% of the first month’s fees; for tutors teaching the entire first month (13-30 days), payments will be made after deducting the initial 12 days’ fees . 

3.06. Don’t worry about waiting for your payment, as you’ll always receive your fees at the end of each month .

4. Private Arrangements :  

4.01   In consideration of  Guru Gyan Home Tuition providing you with Students, you are not permitted to deal directly with Clients introduced by  Guru Gyan Home Tuition or with new Client introduced by  Guru Gyan Home Tuition ’ Clients. If you do such things, you’ll be blacklisted from the company. legal actions with heavy penalty will be taken against you.

4.02. The Tutor will not provide or agree to provide any services or goods carry out any work for the Client or the Student other than the Tuition.

5. Liability :   

5.01    If Client demand any other service other than tuition work, and you agree for that, then we’ll not responsible for that.  

5.02.  Management is not responsible in case of any loss (mobile, bag, purse, laptop, money etc) injury, accident or mishappening while going, returning and during the tuition.

5.03.  Guru Gyan Home Tuition shall not be responsible for the same under any consequences. In such cases legal course of action of account of victims shall be applicable to accused.    

6. Document Requirements , Honesty and Precision : 

6.01   In order to provide the best tutoring experience, we require our tutors to provide us a few important documents. These include a photo of their Aadhar card as a proof of identity, a photo of their 12th mark-sheet, and if applicable, a photo of their graduation marksheet or all certificates of their qualifications mentioned in the joining form. Additionally, if you are an experienced tutor, we would appreciate it if you could submit experience certificates to verify your teaching experience. We will inform you when these documents are needed for verification purposes.

6.02. The Tutor promises and ensures the Company that all their verbal and written statements and information shared with the Company for the purpose of Tuition, including (but not limited to) personal details about the Tutor and their qualifications, identification, credentials, references, and suitability for Tuition are, and will continue to be, truthful, comprehensive, and accurate.

6.03. In the event of any change in the information originally shared, such as a conviction after document verification, the Tutor agrees to promptly inform the Company so that the information provided about themselves remains truthful and precise.

7. Confidentiality And Non-Disclosure Agreement : 

7.01   The Tutor undertakes that he/she  will not at any time during or after the conclusion of this agreement, disclose to any person any confidential information concerning the business, affairs, customers, clients or suppliers of  Guru Gyan Home Tuition , except that you may disclose  Guru Gyan Home Tuition’s confidential information as may be required by law, court order, or any governmental or regulatory authority. 

7.02. The Tutor undertakes not to make use of confidential information encountered through association with  Guru Gyan Home Tuition for any purpose other than to perform your obligations under this Agreement.  

7.03. Tutor agrees to hold in confidence and keep confidential any and all confidential information that I receive from the Company, the Company’s customers, and prospective customers (including students, learners, institutions, companies, and other entities). 

7.04. Tutor agree to not disclose any confidential information to any third party (including other applicants, potential applicants or independent contractors, or the general public) and agree to not use such information for any purpose except to assist any student during a tutoring session.  

7.05. Tutor agrees to compensate the Company for losses it incurs as a result of his/her negligent, reckless, or intentional disclosure of Confidential Information, meaning that tutor will pay for any damages tutor causes, including legal costs.  

7.06. Confidential information includes : 

 7.06.0    Any information, idea or concept, in any form (tangible or intangible), whether disclosed to tutor or learned by tutor concerning students, patrons, teachers, learners, employees, and other applicants, independent contractors, or guests using the service including but not limited to information concerning their age, sex, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, ethnicity, national origin, ancestry, disability, or other personally identifiable information;  

7.06.02. All information of a competitively sensitive nature, including trade secrets or confidential or proprietary information of any sort, including, without limitation, information relating to subject exams and subject exam questions, writing sample questions, products, processes, policies and procedures, designs, formulas, developmental or experimental work, computer programs, databases, or other original works of authorship, customer lists, business plans, financial information or other subject matter pertaining to any business of the Company; and  Confidential information also includes all information concerning Company policies, strategies, finances, pricing, legal documents, pay rates, use of independent contractors, and the nature of relationships between corporate management and its service providers, customers, and end users – including the specific questions such users ask while using the Company’s services. For the purposes of this Agreement, the term “keep confidential” includes sharing confidential information verbally, in written form .  

 7.07. Legal Action ( IT act 2000 ) : 

Section 72. Penalty for breach of confidentiality and privacy :-  Save as otherwise provided in this Act or any other law for the time being in force, any person who, in pursuance of any of the powers conferred under this Act, rules or regulations made there under, has secured access to any electronic record, book, register, correspondence, information, document or other material without the consent of the person concerned discloses such electronic record, book, register, correspondence, information, document or other material to any other person shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine which may extend to one lakh rupees, or with both. The aforesaid section has a limited application only. It confines itself to the acts and omissions of those persons, who have been conferred powers under this Act Rules or Regulation made there under . 

Section 72 of the Act relates to any person who, in pursuance of any of the powers conferred by the Act or its allied rules and regulations has secured access to any: 

i) Electronic record, 

ii) book, 

iii) Register, 

iv) Correspondence, 

v) Information,

vi) Document, or vii) Other material. If such person discloses such electronic record, book, register, correspondence, information, document or other material to any other person, he will be punished with imprisonment for a term, which may extend to two years, or with fine, which may extend to two years, or with fine, which may extend to one lakh rupees, or with both. This section applies only to person who has gained access to the abovementioned information in pursuance to a power granted under Information Technology Act, its allied rules e.g. a police officer, the Controller etc. it would not apply to disclosure of personal information of a person by a website, by his email service provider etc.
